Edward Lewis Brown
Edward Lewis Brown, a resident of the American state of New Hampshire, gained national news media attention in January 2007 for refusing to pay his taxes and refusing to surrender to federal government agents. He has barricaded himself in his home with armed supporters through most of his tax evasion trial, stating he will defend himself against capture if necessary.
