E2 (nightclub)
The E2 was a popular nightclub in Chicago until on the night of Monday, February 17, 2003, a stampede occured in which 21 people were killed and more than 50 injured. The proximate cause of the stampede was reported to be the use of pepper spray to break up a fight.
