El AaiĂşn



El-Aaiún or Laâyoune (Arabic: العيون, transliterated al-`ayūn), is the main city of Western Sahara, a former Spanish colony now mostly administred by Morocco. It is the capital of the Laâyoune-Boujdour-Sakia El Hamra region.
