Earl Brooke

The title Earl Brooke was created in the Peerage of Great Britain in 1746 for Francis Greville, who already held the title Baron Brooke, of Beauchamp's Court in the County of Warwick (created 1621). In 1759, the 1st Earl Brooke was created Earl of Warwick, and since then the Earls Brooke have been known by that title rather than the more senior Earldom of Brooke.
