Education in Indonesia is the responsibility of the Ministry of National Education of Indonesia (Departmen Pendidikan Nasional Republik Indonesia/Depdiknas). Education in Indonesia was previously the responsibility of the Ministry of National Education and Culture of Indonesia (Departmen Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia/Depdikbud).
