Elasmosaurus
Elasmosaurus (IPA pronunciation: ) meaning "thin-plated lizard" because it had platelike bones in its pelvic girdle (Greek elasmos = thin plate + sauros = lizard) is a plesiosaur with an extremely long neck that lived in the late Cretaceous.
