Eclipse Comet of 1882
The Eclipse Comet of 1882 (modern formal designation: X/1882 K1) was a comet which was discovered by observers in Egypt during the solar eclipse of 1882. Its appearance was a complete surprise, and the sighting of it during the eclipse was the only time it was seen.
