Ecclesiastical coup
The Ecclesiastical coup is the name given to the coup d'Ă©tat staged by three Bishops of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus against President of the Republic of Cyprus, Archbishop Makarios III in the period March 1972 - July 1973.
