The Echinades (Greek: per Herodotus, Thucydides, and Strabo), also transliterated Ehinades – or, per Homer, Echinae (), informally the Oxeiae (Sharp Islands), and during the Venician occupation, the Kurtzolári – are a group of numerous islands off the coast of Acarnania, Greece, several of which have become united to the mainland by alluvial deposits.
