Eduardo de Valfierno



Eduardo de Valfierno, who referred to himself as Marqués (marquis) Eduardo de Valfierno, was allegedly an Argentine con man who masterminded the theft of the Mona LisaForbes: Great Art Thefts Of The 20th Century. Valfierno paid several men to steal the work of art from the Louvre, including museum employee Vincenzo Peruggia.
