Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu
Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, born 1943 in Cairo, Egypt, is a Turkish academic for history of science and currently Secretary General of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which consists of 57 member states in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America, making it one of the world’s largest intergovernmental organisations.
