El-Mo'alla

The Upper Egyptian town El-Moa'alla (Arabic: المعلّى) (ancient Hefat) is the site of two important rock-cut tombs of the early First Intermediate Period, those belonging to Ankhtifi and Sobekhotep. It is located about 35 km south of Luxor, on the east bank of the Nile.
