El Salvador Civil War
The El Salvador Civil War was predominantly fought between the Salvadoran military dictatorship and a unified leftist opposition guerrilla movement known as the Farabundo MartĂ National Liberation Front (FMLN) between 1980 and 1992. The United States supported the right-wing government.
