Five-Fold Ministry

Five-Fold Ministry refers to the New Testament book of Ephesians, in which the author instructs that people serve in the church, "some apostles, and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ". A recent, continuing movement within Charismatic Christianity exists which regards this as a model for the principal offices of service, or "ministry" within the Christian Church.
