Fanny Chamberlain
Frances "Fanny" Caroline Adams Chamberlain (12 August 1825 – 18 October 1905) was born in what is now a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts, to Ashur and Amelia Wyllys Adams. She was the youngest of several children and her parents were nearly elderly at the time of her birth, which led to little Fanny being shuffled to different family members until she settled with Reverend George Adams, a nephew of her father, in Brunswick, Maine as a small child.
