Fred Fulton Fred Fulton (April 19, 1891—July 7, 1973) was an American heavyweight boxer who fought from 1913-1933. Fulton fought during the "White Hope Era' (from 1908-1915) where a white heavyweight was sought to wrest the crown from Jack Johnson.

Fred Goldsmith (coach) Fred Goldsmith is the 18th and current head football coach for Lenoir-Rhyne College. Goldsmith is well-known for his successful tenure as coach at Duke University, and is a former winner of the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year award, in 1994 at Duke, as well as NCAA Coach of the Year in 1992 at Rice, having revived a program that was in the midst of a two-year winless streak, but upon Goldsmith's signing, recorded a 6-win season, prompting the NCAA to present him with the award.
Fred Goodall Frederick Robert Goodall (born 1938) was an international cricket umpire from New Zealand who officiated in 24 Tests and 15 one-day internationals between 1965 and 1988.
