Fiscal imbalance in Nigeria
Nigeria can be said to suffer from a vertical fiscal imbalance. Due to the structure of the Nigerian government, as well as the fact that almost all of its revenue comes from the Oil industry, 80% of a state's income comes from centrally collected revenues.
