Fiscus Iudaicus



The fiscus Iudaicus (Latin: "Jewish tax") was a tax paid by the Jewish subjects of the Roman Empire after the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem in favor of the temple of Jupiter Capitolinus in Rome.
