Filip Konowal



Filip Konowal VC (September 15, 1888 – June 3, 1959) was a Ukrainian Canadian recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He is the only Ukrainian recipient of the VC.
