Fall of Saigon
The Fall of Saigon (in Vietnamese: 30 tháng tư, or April 30th), was the capture of the South Vietnamese capital of Saigon by the Vietnam People's Army (NVA) on April 30, 1975. Those sympathetic to the North Vietnamese hailed the event as the liberation of Saigon.
