Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy
Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) is an autosomal dominant form of muscular dystrophy that initially affects muscles of the face (facio), scapula (scapulo) and upper arms (humeral). It is the third most common genetic disease of skeletal muscle.
