Falvey



Falvey is a surname which is derived from O'Failve, a Gaelic name which literally means "lively, pleasant, sprightly, merry, cheerful" or, according to another historian, "joker". Other derivatives of O'Failve has continued in the forms of O’Failbhe, O’Falvie, O’Falvy, O’Failie, O’Falvey, Falvey, Fealy and Fealey.
