Fire apparatus
A fire apparatus, fire engine or fire truck usually refers to a vehicle designed to fight fires. Although civilians may use the terms fire truck and fire engine interchangeably, to an emergency worker, the words represent different types of fire fighting apparatus, the proper generic term is fire apparatus.
