Fernando Martín Álvarez



Fernando Martín Álvarez (born May 30, 1947 in Trigueros del Valle near Valladolid) was president of Real Madrid of the Spanish La Liga, replacing Florentino Pérez who resigned February 27, 2006, until he unexpectedly himself resigned on 26 April 2006 when only one of the 16-member board supported him. He was a member of the board of directors under Florentino Pérez.
