Games for Windows
Games for Windows is a marketing campaign by Microsoft that dates back at least to 2005, and was revised in 2006, seemingly aimed at officially categorizing computer games that will work with their Microsoft Windows products. The campaign has been promoted through convention kiosks and through other fora as early as 2005.
