Garrett Hongo
Garrett Hongo is a Japanese American poet born in Volcano, Hawaii in 1951. He has published two books with poetry collections: Yellow Light (1982) and The River of Heaven (1988) (Lamont Poetry Selection of The Academy of American Poets and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize).
