Genome-Based Peptide Fingerprint Scanning
GFS is a system for performing Genome-Based Peptide Fingerprint Scanning, that identifies the genomic origins of sample proteins by scanning their peptide-mass fingerprint against the theoretical translation and proteolytic digest of an entire genome.
