George Jackson (MP)
Sir George Jackson (1725 – 1822), British politician, sat as a Member of Parliament at various times for Weymouth, Melcombe Regis, and Colchester. In addition he was Judge Advocate of the Fleet and was a friend and patron of Lt James Cook (later Captain).
