Geirr Tveitt
Geirr (Nils) Tveitt (October 19, 1908–February 1, 1981) was one of Norway's most distinguished composers in the 20th century. Like Prokofiev, Bartok and Rachmaninov, Tveitt also possessed a unique talent as a pianist, which won him considerable acclaim in Europe and elsewhere.
