Gatjil Djerrkura
Gatjil Djerrkura OAM (1950-2004) was an Aboriginal leader and indigenous spokesman in the Northern Territory and Australia and served as Chairman of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC), appointed on 6 December 1996 to 2000.
