George Boyd-Rochfort
George Arthur Boyd-Rochfort, (1 January 1880-7 August 1940) was born in Middleton, County Westmeath, and was an Irish recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.
