Gavril Atanasov
Gavril Atanasov was a famous Macedonian icon painter from Berovo (Malesh region) in the 19th century. He was also a member and informant of the centralists in the Macedonian Liberation Movement, who were fighting for the liberation of the Macedonian nation and an independent Macedonian state.
