Gerardo Matos RodrĂguez
Gerardo Hernán Matos RodrĂguez (March 28, 1897 - April 25, 1948), also known as Becho, was a Uruguayan musician, composer and journalist. He is best known for the tango La Cumparsita, perhaps the most famous and recognizable tango of all time, composed as a young student in 1919.
