Georg BĂĽchmann



Georg Büchmann (* January 4 1822 in Berlin, † February 24 1884 in Berlin-Schöneberg) was a German philologist. He became well known as a result of his 1864 book Geflügelte Worte, Der Zitatenschatz des Deutschen Volkes (1864), a collection of quotations.
