Galdr
Galdr (plural galdrar) is one Old Norse word for "spell, incantation" (compare Old English: gealdor or galdor, derived from which is Modern English yell and Old High German: Galstar from which is Modern German Galsterei (Witchcraft) and Galsterweib (Witch) ).
