Gaylord Building
The Gaylord Building, constructed in 1838 in Lockport, Illinois and on the canalside there, played a pivotal role in the construction of the Illinois and Michigan Canal. It is on the United States National Register of Historic Places, and is one of 28 National Trust Historic Sites.
