Gasping for Airtime: Two Years in the Trenches of Saturday Night Live

Gasping for Airtime: Two Years in the Trenches of Saturday Night Live is an autobiographical book by former Saturday Night Live featured player Jay Mohr. In it, Mohr recounts, amongst other things, his battles with panic attacks, being intimidated by castmates Rob Schneider and Ellen Cleghorne, his conflicts with Al Franken, his admiration for deceased castmates Chris Farley and Phil Hartman, the accurate accusation that he stole material from other comedians, and being depressed about his lack of sketch appearances.
