Galician people

The Galician people (Pobo Galego) are the ethnic group or nation native to the Spanish autonomous community of Galicia, in the Iberian peninsula of southwest Europe. The Galician language, which is similar to Portuguese, is their native language (even if Spanish is quite widespread) and Roman Catholicism is their predominant religion.
