Heliaia

Heliaia (Greek: Ἡλιαία) or Halia (Greek: ἁλία) was the supreme court of ancient Athens. Τhe generally held scientific view is that the court drew its name from the ancient Greek verb , which means συναθροίζεσθαι, namely congregate.
