Haya Rashed Al-Khalifa
Sheikha Haya Rashed Al-Khalifa (born October 18, 1952) () is a lawyer and diplomat from Bahrain who is the President of the 61st United Nations General Assembly which began on September 12, 2006. She is the first woman to hold the position since Angie Elisabeth Brooks of Liberia was appointed to the presidency in 1969.
