Helen Hughes
Helen Hughes AO is Professor Emeritus at the Australian National University and Senior Fellow at the Centre for Independent Studies. Born in 1928, she was Professor of Economics and Director of the National Centre for Development Studies at ANU from 1983 to 1993, and a member of the Fitzgerald Committee on Immigration: A Commitment to Australia.
