Harry Owen
Harry Owen was the first landlord of the Pen-y-Gwryd Hotel in Snowdonia. Harry, together with his wife Ann, ran the hotel for over forty years and transformed it from a farmhouse to a well-known and popular hotel catering principally for the increasing number of walkers and climbers visiting the region in the second half of the 19th century.
