Halldór Ásgrímsson



Halldór Ásgrímsson () (born September 8, 1947) was the 22nd Prime Minister of Iceland. The leader of the Progressive Party 1994-2006, he took over as Prime Minister on September 15, 2004, from the Independence Party leader, Davíð Oddsson, who had held the office for a record thirteen years.
