Harem anime
A harem anime or harem comedy is a term for an anime or manga story wherein one male character is surrounded by — often living with — several female characters. The term is a creation of Western fans, the Japanese simply calling such shows lovecomi (love comedies), although the concept is well known to Japanese fans as well.
