Harare Declaration
The Harare Declaration is a statement of the principles of the Commonwealth of Nations, agreed on by the heads of government of its member countries at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in 1991. It committed the organisations to the encouragement of good governance, which was in contrast to the earlier policy of non-interference in members' affairs.
