Hadar, Ethiopia



Hadar is a site on the Awash River in Ethiopia, in the Afar Triangle. It is most famous for being the site of the discovery of Lucy, a three million year old fossilised specimen of Australopithecus afarensis discovered by the archeologist Donald Johansen.
