Hack-a-Shaq
Hack-a-Shaq is the name commonly ascribed to a basketball defensive strategy initially instituted in the National Basketball Association (NBA) by former Dallas Mavericks coach Don Nelson to hinder the scoring ability of the Chicago Bulls. However, it ultimately became more well-known for its application against center Shaquille O'Neal and the Los Angeles Lakers, the team for which O'Neal played at the time.
