Harris (train)
The Harris trains were first introduced to the Melbourne metropolitan railway system in 1956 with the last of the unrefurbished trains seeing service in 1988. The name derives from Sir Norman Harris, Chairman of Commissioners of the Victorian Railways between 1940 and 1950.
