Hawley Beach, Tasmania is pretty little seaside resort of some 2200 people (2005) 20 kilometres from the nearest main town (Devonport). Hawley Beach is known for its minute red sand crabs, the local plovers and reasonable fishing, nearby is the small town of Port Sorell.
