Ham's Station, California
Ham's Station is a snow chain stop on California State Route 88 in Amador County, California. Located at an elevation of 6,000 feet, it opens in the winter when chains are required on vehicles travelling through the Sierra Nevada, however the restaurant at Ham's Station stays open year round.
